Our Programs
English Communication
Objective: Develop fluency and confidence when conversing in English
Duration: 11 weeks
Audience: First and second year university students
Details:
- Identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in conversational English
- Engage in practical and relevant topics of conversational interest such as the society, economy, health and technology
- Understand ways to develop English skills outside of the mentoring sessions
Career Exploration
Objective: Identify careers of interest and create a roadmap for gaining experience and developing career profile
Duration: 12 weeks
Audience: Third and fourth year university students
Details:
- Students discover possible careers they may want to explore
- Students identify the skills required to succeed in those careers
- Introduce career tools such as resumes, LinkedIn profiles and personal statements
- Develop an action plan to build students’ career profiles after the end of the program
Career Preparation
Objective: Support students in finding a job after graduation
Duration: 12 weeks
Audience: Fourth year university students
Details:
- Identifying a personalised list of job titles and companies
- Preparing tailored resumes and cover letters
- Understanding how to prepare for and conduct interviews
- Learning how to do outreach and network to find roles
- Understanding the key skills required to make an impact in a job
Industry Talks
We bring in experts from various industries and professions to share their journeys and engage in discussions with students. This provides mentees a broader perspective on the career opportunities that exist and the paths to achieve them.
